How to add custom domain to Blogger

After starting a blog on BlogSpot.com, we will get a domain name like sample.blogspot.com and it is a free domain name. We can add a custom domain instead of sample.blogspot.com. A good example is sample.com which is a custom domain name. Below are the steps to add a custom domain to blogger. We can purchase a domain from Godaddy.com

Step 1: Firstly, we want to purchase a domain. After that we want to setup a third party URL in blogger platform. For that we want to follow the below steps.

Step 2:  Sign in to blogger and go to the settings - Basic. There we can see the blog address as shown in figure below.


Step 3: Click on the third party URL link and add the custom domain we purchased in it as shown in figure. Then save it. If it is not saved and shows some errors, then go to step 4.


Step 4: We can see an error "we have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error 12." Inorder to solve that problem, we want to locate the DNS settings and to enter the below CNAMEs as shown in figure. For that we want to sign in the domain registrars website and enter those CNAMEs in it.


Step 5:  Go to domain  management and add the CNAME in it. For that we want to enter "www"
in label "host" and enter "ghs.google.com" in label "points to ". Save it 
Step 6:  Once again enter the CNAME with "xbhzxj7e22pn" in host and  "gv-q4ybzivyc7wzsn.dv.googlehosted.com" in "points to ". save it

Step 7:  In the A record,  we want to enter four IPs. The IPs are as follows
216.239.32.21
216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21
Then save it . The screen shot of  adding A record is shown below.


Step 8: Go to blogger and enter the domain in the blog address. If there shows an error, then go to step 9.

Step 9: We want to verify the ownership of the domain with a TXT record through the google webmaster tools. In the process, we will get a TXT value. Copy that TXT value and paste it in the records of DNS management.


Step 10:  Go to webmaster tool and verify the ownership. That's it

Step 11:  Go to blog and enter the custom domain in the blog address then save it.

Step 12 : Wait for 24 hours to 48 hours for the old blog address to redirect to new custom domain. That's it.

E-Commerce is otherwise known as Electronic Commerce means buying and selling of goods, products, or services through online. E-commerce is also known as internet commerce. If we want to sell a new product, firstly we promote it as e-commerce marketing. We can sale the product all over the world easily. In that way we attract the new customers and also bring that customer regularly. If they purchase a product means the conversion rate is higher. In this e-commerce marketing there are so many techniques were used, they are PPC, SEO, SEM, Display Advertising. They are as follows,

1. Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC)

It is one of traditional advertising platform in e-commerce marketing. In PPC, we can place the advertisement in search engines, in that way we get more clicks and purchasing.

2. Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

Search Engine Marketing is paid marketing. SEM is often used to describe effort on Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yahoo Ads and so on.

3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search Engine Optimization is unpaid marketing. It is fully used to increase in traffic level, page rank. SEO needs at least 3 months to 1 year to achieve the target. SEO is divided into two types that is Off-page Optimization and On-Page Optimization. On-Page Optimization means what activates are done in the website that is good keyword, original content, meta description, anchor text and HTML code, sitemaps (HTML and XML). Then the Off-Page Optimization means what activates are done outside the webpage that is link building, in-bound and out-bound link building, directories, article submission, blog submission, forums participation, press release, question and answer sites and so on.

4. Display Advertising

Display advertising means what are the ads are visible in our sites. It includes banners, sidebars, visual advertisements that appear on different websites. That’s may be vertical, horizontal, rectangle or square model.

5. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing means if we create one shopping site means, in that site we can place only shopping related ads then only we target the correct customers and reach the target. Some of the affiliate associates providing ads for sites are Amazon Affiliate, Flipkart Affiliate and so on.

6. E-mail Marketing

E-mail Marketing means marketing our products and services through e-mail. If the customer visit our site and subscribe it once means, we can sent newsletters and recent updates of websites regularly. This helps us to increase the returning visits. It is used to attract the customers and regain the customers also.

1. Google Ads:

It is one of the PPC model. It is paid marketing. The ad is given by the advertiser and it is published by the publisher. If a visitor click on the ads, the advertiser want to give a certain amount to the publisher according to CPC or PPC. CPC means Cost-Per-Click. It is the cost of click, we want to given to publisher. Other is PPC. It is the search ads that is displayed at the top of the search engine results. Here the advertiser want to pay to search engines for each clicks.

2. Search Engine Results Page (SERP)

Search Engine Results Page means if we create one site with seo friendly content and good keyword, so google robots will crawl and index in search engine results. If the visitor search that particular keyword then google display the particular results in top of the results page. If the result is displayed in first page of search results, then its SERP is #1. And if it is in the third page then its SERP is #3.

3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

Conversion Rate Optimization means if the visitor visit the product and was attracted by the product then it comes in sales process and finally comes in conversion. This process of increasing the sales results in more business conversion and it is expressed in conversion rate. The conversion rate must be higher then only we can stand that business environment.

4. Conversion Funnel

Conversion Funnel is the method of giving awareness of the product to the customer. This may result in purchase of product.  Highly estimated products will result in longer sales. If it is sale for minimal cost then it will increase the sale in shorter time.

5 Digital Marketing Terms You Need to Know in 2020



1. GOOGLE ADSENSE

Google AdSense is a simple way to earn money from our websites. Before applying AdSense, our website must have original content and should be dynamic for at least six months. Also the website must complies with the AdSense program policies.  We can apply AdSense for our website and YouTube accounts. AdSense also works with blogger and YouTube to allow us to create host partner accounts. To start earning money from our original YouTube videos we must be apply for AdSense. In YouTube the ads must be videos. It should be displayed at certain intervals during the video streaming.
